Evan's 7th week was an eventful one. He got to go on his 1st road trip it was his 1st Christmas and he gave us his 1st REAL SMILE!!!! It was the best Christmas present I ever got. He smiled for Mom, Grammie Susan, Pappy Rick, and Michelle but not for Daddy yet. He got to meet so many friends and family over the past few days it must have exhausted him since he slept right through 2 Christmas Eve parties.

Evan even got to meet Michelle, mommy's college roommate

Almost 6 weeks old! Evan is getting bigger and bigger. He almost fits into his newborn clothes now. He has been doing very well with holding his head up and is now starting to coo and is much more alert. No real smiles yet, we are patiently waiting. He's getting ready for his first Christmas and first road trip this week.

Evan is one month old! He now weighs 6 pounds 2 ounces and is 19.5 inches long.
He is starting to sleep much better now and is obviously became a much better
eater over the past couple of weeks.
This past weekend he got to meet his Uncle Scott, Aunt Renee and 2 cousins Madison and Sydney.
He looks so small with my brother holding him!
We are not sure if the girls were more interested in him or Angel, our cat.

Hope you all are enjoying the blog. Evan is doing great. He seems to be sleeping better and we gave him a bottle for the first time last night. It was great to have daddy take over a 4:00 am feeding and thankfully Evan accepted it nicely. Here is a shot of him relaxing in his bouncer...
