Evan got another visit from his Pappy Rick and Grammie Susan. He showed them how he eats cereal and bananas and how he loves to stand. They even watched him while his mom and dad went to the movies!

Evan eats cereal in his swing! A high chair is on the way...

We started giving Evan some solid foods to try and we are not quite sure if he likes them. He's tried cereal and bananas so far. Some days he goes after the spoon and seems to like it but other days he gets pretty mad when we try to feed him. I think he likes chomping on the spoon more than anything else. His new thing is grabbing his toes. He tries to pull his socks off and put his toes in his mouth!! He also loves to stand! We try to get him to practice sitting but he always pushes off his feet to stand. Does that mean we'll have an early walker? Also, the past few mornings we've found him sleeping on his stomach. He seems to be very comfortable that way- like his mom. Evan is rooting for Pitt during March Madness but did not bring them much luck for the Big East Championship...

4 months old!! Evan has hit a plateau in his growth. He weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces and is 22 inches long. There seems to be some teeth on the way and he can now sit for a few seconds on his own (while he supports himself with his hands).
