Evan is now standing all of the time. Last week he discovered he could pull himself up and now he stands at the bottom of the steps then crawls over to the couch and stands there then crawls over to the entertainment center and pulls himself up there while he tries to push all of he buttons on the DVD player. I've also found him standing in his crib a few times (see below).
We thought he might like to try some Cheerios but it did not go so well. The cat ended up eating more of them than he did. We'll keep trying. One other food that we found out he likes is tofu!! He DOES NOT like ground turkey though as he adamantly told us as he gagged puked it up the other (yuck).

He loves to stand. Here he is in his crib after waking from a nap...

Happy Father's Day!! Evan and Jeff had a great time watching the US Open together today (at least the last hour of it anyway). It seems that Evan is growing bored of crawling and is attempting to stand every chance he gets. Yesterday he could only make onto his knees but today he is pushing up! We are going to be in some real trouble very soon. He also loves the dog and cat. When he sees them he shrieks and goes after them as fast as he can. Luckily they are very patient animals. Angel has been losing a lot of hair lately from Evan grabbing her.

7 months old. Evan is up to 14 pounds 11 ounces. He is soooo active. He does his belly-flop crawl and can get across the room pretty quickly. Today he tried to climb up the stairs!!! Babbling has gone from "Hey" and "mamama" to "yeah yeah dada". (although he does still yell "hey!" at the dog and cats) He is starting to drink from his sippy cup pretty well. At first all he wanted to do was bang it on the high chair but now he actually drinks from it. He drank 2 oz of water from it unassisted tonight! He loves the cup and gets very excited when we give it to him...

Almost 7 month old. Evan is now crawling pretty well and can stand on his own!! He pulls himself up to sitting but not to standing quite yet but will stand if you put him next to the couch so he can hang on for balance. He is getting so big!! We're still waiting for those other teeth so all of this drooling will stop...
