Happy Halloween!! Evan had his first trick-or-treat tonight! He had fun walking around our circle in his pumpkin costume getting candy that he can't eat yet (but mom and dad can). There weren't too many kids out in our neighborhood. We only got 5 and I bought 5 bags of candy!!! More for us I guess. Evan is going through some major teething right now. It looks like he might be getting 4 teeth including 2 molars on the top. Needless to say he is not a happy camper. For the last 12 days he's been waking up during the night at least once (which is very unusual) and has been getting up at 5:00 am for the day (except for when we changed the clocks back then it was 4:00). The poor little guy must be in a ton of pain. Hope he is better for the big day next week. One year already. Hard to believe our little baby will be a toddler.

So here is a funny story. We were all at the playground last week and there was a little girl probably a few months older than Evan who apparently took a liking to him. Every time she saw him she took off after him and if she could catch him she tried to kiss him!! Twice she succeeded. One time she tackled him while trying to hug him then kissed him on the top of the head and the other time kissed him on the cheek!! It was way too hilarious.
There have been some more new sounds coming out of the little man's mouth. Besides "wee wee wee" he says "wowie", "out" hisses like a snake and says something that sounds an awful lot like "eat".
Here are a few pictures from our pumpkin picking excursion...

At 11 months old Evan has learned to clap! He now walks around the house all day clapping and smiling. While grocery shopping a couple of days ago he kept clapping at the woman behind us in line. It was very entertaining to us all. He is also making some very crazy faces and is making new sounds, mostly ones that start with W (like wee wee wee).
