Happy Holidays! Evan had his 14 month check up today and he is 19 pounds 5 ounces and 29 inches long. Not quite heavy enough to turn his car seat around for our big trip tomorrow but long enough to move up to his big car seat. Maybe we should have let him eat a few more Christmas cookies. Here are a few pictures from Evan's 2nd Christmas...

A rare shot of the whole family

He seems to like the box the present came in...

His first Santa experience. Not sure what he thought of it.

This afternoon we took Evan into the city to see the huge tree at Rockefeller Center and went to the top of 30 Rock, 70 stories up, to get a great view of the city. Evan loved it! He was running around the observation deck and laughing hysterically which was making everyone around us laugh too.
He is starting to say a few words now like "kitty", "daddy" and "sun" and he points to everything and says "See!". He is becoming interested in eating from our plates now instead of his own so he's been trying a lot of new foods lately. Pizza with mushrooms and peppers, couscous, fried rice, stuffed peppers and pancakes. The 6 new teeth he's getting right now will be very helpful in his food experimentation. 3 teeth are already starting to poke through and 3 others are very close. That will make 14 teeth when these are done!!!!

Evan had quite the weekend. He went on his first airplane trip to Florida where he went to his first wedding which was also his first time in a church! We had lots of fun at the beach and pool and of course at the wedding too. The plane ride went surprisingly well too. Here are a few cute pictures from the trip...
