Evan had his first official haricut today. Daddy has cut (or butchered) his hair a few times at home but this was his first professional experience. It seemed to be a lot of fun! He got to drive a NYPD car while wearing a cape!!

Today Evan met Mike and Heather's puppy Suzi Sally. She is a labradoodle and Evan loved her!! I think she liked him too since she gave him lots of kisses. He also found the time to do one of his favorite activities - sweep! Which also happens to be one of his favorite words. Such a busy boy!

We've been busy trying to figure out how to keep busy with this bad weather! For a couple of days it was spring-like and I thought winter was over then low and behold we get about 2 inches of ice with a little dusting of snow on top! Evan has been coming up with some new indoor games on his own such as- let's empty out the oven drawer and climb in and out. He uses the step stool to climb onto the couch and points the remote at the TV saying "Elmo! Elmo!" and pretends to drink out of anything that remotely resembles a cup and says "Ahhh!". Besides Ahhh and Elmo he now says Pap, Ernie, Noodle (as in Mr. Noodle), apple, beep, sweep, seat, cheese, nana (as in banana), clock (more like "ca"), duck (da), more, water (wa), teeth, eye, ear, knee and side (for outside which we unfortunately can't do right now). He also runs to the door points at it and says "bye bye" when we wants to leave. He's been throwing his food on the floor and saying "puppy" so we are trying to teach him that his food is not for puppy. Sometimes he picks it up and asks "baby?" like he wants to make sure it's for him first then when say "yes, for baby" and he'll eat it. He calls all kids baby even if they are 8 or 9 years old. One day a kid at the mall got mad at him and said "I'm not a baby. I'm 5. You're a baby!!" He can identify his eyes, ears, belly, teeth, tongue, nose, toes, knees, head and hair.
He loves to walk down the steps forward now which is a little scary but he goes slow and is pretty good at it. When he's in a hurry he crawls backward. I think that's all the news for now. Here are a couple of pictures of Evan and his friend Isabela from dinner last night ...
